Cheesecake is a sweet dessert that consists of a creamy filling made from cream cheese, eggs, sugar, and flavorings, all on a crumbly crust made from graham crackers, cookies, or pastry. Ingredients for making cheesecake typically.

Press the crust mixture into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch (23 cm) springform               pan. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes. For the filling, beat the cream cheese               until smooth. Add the sugar, eggs, and vanilla (or other flavorings) and beat until well combined.               Pour the filling mixture into the crust and smooth the top. Bake in the preheated oven until the                     edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly, about 45-50 minutes. Allow the cheesecake to cool              to room temperature, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or until firm. Serve chilled               with desired toppings, such as fruit, whipped cream, or chocolate sauce.
