Cronut


                  A cronut is a pastry that is made from a croissant-doughnut hybrid and is a popular dessert                          item. Ingredients for making cronuts typically

 include: All-purpose flour Sugar Salt Active dry yeast Whole milk Unsalted butter Vegetable oil 
                 (for frying)Confectioners' sugar (for dusting)Optional ingredients: fillings such as chocolate,                     fruit, cream, etc. Instructions for making cronuts typically include the following 

steps:     Combine the flour, sugar, salt, yeast, and milk in a large mixing bowl. Knead the dough until it                    is smooth and elastic. Roll out the dough and cut it into shapes. Allow the dough to rise for 1-2                 hours. Heat the oil in a deep saucepan until it reaches 350°F (180°C).Fry the cronut shapes until                 they are golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes. Drain the cronuts on paper towels.                        Dust with confectioners' sugar and fill with optional ingredients if desired. Serve and enjoy!
