FISH CURRY फिश करी 


Here are the ingredients for a simple fish curry:1 lb. fish fillets
2 tbsp. oil1 onion, finely chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced1 inch ginger, grated
2 tomatoes, pureed
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp chili powder (optional)
1 cup water salt to taste
2 tbsp. chopped cilantro leaves

 Instructions: Wash the fish fillets and pat them dry.. Heat oil in a pan and add the onion, garlic, and 
ginger. Cook until the onion is soft and translucent...Add the pureed tomatoes, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and chili powder (if using). Cook until the tomatoes are soft and mushy. Add the water and salt, and bring the mixture to a boil. Add the fish fillets and simmer until the fish is cooked through and the sauce has thickened Sprinkle with chopped cilantro leaves before serving. Enjoy the fish curry with steamed rice or any Indian bread of your choice.
