paneer tikka- पनीर टिक्का रेसिपी

 samosa समोसा

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

3 tablespoons vegetable oil

4 to 6 tablespoons water

1 cup boiled, mashed potatoes

1/2 cup green peas

1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds

1/2 teaspoon coriander powder

1/2 teaspoon amchur powder

1/2 teaspoon garam masala

1/2 teaspoon red chili powder

Salt, to taste

Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions:  In a large bowl, mix together flour and salt.

Add in oil and mix with your fingertips until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.

Gradually add water and mix until dough comes together. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until it's smooth and elastic.

Cover with plastic wrap and let it rest for 30 minutes.

In a separate pan, heat 1 tablespoon oil and add cumin seeds. When they start to sizzle, add mashed potatoes, green peas, coriander powder, amchur powder, garam masala, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.

Divide the dough into 8-10 equal portions and roll each one into a ball.

Take a ball of dough and roll it into a circle about 5-6 inches in diameter. Cut the circle in half.

Take one half of the circle and make a cone with it, sealing the edges with water.

Fill the cone with 2 tablespoons of the potato filling and seal the top edge. Repeat with remaining dough and filling.

In a large frying pan, heat enough oil to fully submerge the samosas. Once hot, add samosas in batches and fry until golden brown, about 3-5 minutes on each side.

Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with chutney of your choice.
